This blanket is not very colorful. It has a masculine look to it and it would work well in a boys bedroom, man cave, or family room. The colors are very neutral. Im not really in to the country look. The dark colors would not show dirt or spills as easily so it could work very well as a picnic blanket.

I am not mad about the colors shown but that is a small point. Tthe pattern is just beautiful so I have just spent half an hour digging in my yarn stash and have come up with a color combination that I like and that is going to look just stunning in our TV room. We each have our favorite throw to snuggle under in winter when TV watching and this Country Throw is about to become my new favorite!
