Art Square

"Crochet this cute art square. Designed to be April’s square in my 2022 free C2C CAL on my blog, this square celebrates World Art Day. It is a perfect stash or scrap buster if you have some part used skeins! It uses the corner to corner technique, but you can use the graph to create a small wall hanging or bag square if you use SC and work it in rows. I worked my square in half double crochet which created a square of approximately 12”. If you use double crochet it will be approximately 16” square."

Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Crochet GaugeGauge does not matter as long as you are consistent.

Finished SizeIf you use HDC your block will be approximately 12” square depending on tension. If you opt for DC blocks then you will find that it will typically be between 16-18″
