You just have to love this project. It requires little material and works up in little to no time. Now it IS possible to match every outfit that you have. I know every work out outfit that I have I can now have a scrunchy to wear to match. Who says workout wear has be uncoordinated.

I gave up on keeping long hair ages ago, but I have so many teen and younger granddaughters who love their locks! Im passing this pattern on to some of the grands who love to craft, and working up several scrunchies myself to pass out as gifts. These would make wonderful items for craft fairs as well as stocking stuffers for the holidays. Do choose your inner band wisely though, and opt for the thicker, sturdier version instead of the thinner.

For me, scrunchies have been a big part of my hair accessory kit and I just love this upgrade. We all know that the scrunchy is not the best hair accessory because it can cause breakage. I am hoping the crochet covering will be an asset in the long road.

My hair is too short to use one of these but my daughter in law and grand daughter have long hair and wear these a lot. I read the directions and this is very easy to make. I can make them in multiple colors and even use them for stocking stuffers.
