Fancy Headband
"This simple and elegant Bruge lace headband is perfect worn on its own or embellished with flowers, bows and more. Make it in any yarn you like and in whatever size you need. If you’d like to make it wider, that’s easy too! Be sure to take a look at my Flowers and Bows pattern for lots of fun flowers and some cute bows to add as variations. I used scraps of worsted weight yarn for my samples but you could use any weight you like, just adjust your hook accordingly."

From preemie to adult the designer has provided the directions on how to make this. I love that the head band itself is really easy to make and depending on what you like, you can modify the band by adding the modifications you like.

My niece loves to wear headbands. This may be a little different from the types she wears but if I select her favorite colors, I am sure she will like it.

This is so pretty! I actually like the headband plain, but it would still look sweet with the various embellishments. The pattern itself is very simple and repetitive, and only uses basic stitches. The designer has embedded an instructional video on her page. The only change I would suggest is if you make it for an older child or adult, you work five Double Crochet instead of three so the band will be wider.

Im not really sure that I would classify this headband as a fancy one per say, but I would classify it in the department of boho with its flower child look. I really love its look. I will definitely save this one for future use. My girls, I think, will want to add this cool accessory to their dress up closet.
