Having a head full of hair sometimes I do reach for a rubber band of some sort to tie it up. Having a headband like this will help keep those tresses at bay when I really need them to be out of my way. Certain bands can damage hair but this will not.

The perfect beginner project. Even if you have never been one to wear a headband, you will feel accomplished once you get one of these made, you will be a wearer of headbands, lol. All of your friends and family will be curious to where you got them from. Being able to make them in little time and make them to match any and all of your outfits is the clincher.

This was one of the first headband patterns I made with my granddaughters. Its so versatile that you can work it up as a solid piece, or add something to close it with. Lately, Ive been attaching a ponytail band to each side of the strip to give it more stretch. That way, I can make the headband part shorter but still have plenty of give.

Yes, headbands are one of the best starter/beginner crochet projects you can make. This one is darling, with the addition of the rosettes. She does give you a link to her pattern for that, in case you want yours to look just as pictured instead of a plain band. However, nothing wrong with a plain band, either. A girl's gotta have one in black!

I enjoy these little headbands! so easy to make little presents for people! #bestideaever
