It's a shame that when you say that you crochet, most people think of granny with an afghan being worked on. Crocheting has come so far. I have been doing it for over 50 years and have gone with afghans, to clothes, to kitchen accessories to bedrooms. Now I have gotten into curtains and jewelry in crochet. Take a look at these crochet jewelry patterns and see if you still think crochet is for old ladies in rocking chairs!
