Norwood Park
"Norwood Park combines color blocking with a unique, asymmetrical, “V” shape. Lightweight yarn and tapered ends make it light enough for spring weather, even when wrapped around. The beginner friendly pattern uses an unconventional decrease, which is not only easier to do, but also helps to avoid extra bulk along the edges. This scarf is approximately 9 inches wide at its widest point, and 75 inches long from tip to tip. It uses DK weight yarn in 2 colors."

I was really skeptical about this pattern until I read over the directions. I now understand how to achieve the effect the designer presented. I like the way this works up with a v in the center. Even if you choose a single color or make it with the self striping yarns this will be one of those items that get a lot of wear.

What a pretty scarf. The designer could have provided a few more pictures of this wonderful project to show off all the work put into making this design. Even though the project is marked as easy, no one else will be the wiser when they see the finished project.

What a great design on this skinny shawl. I can think of a certain special yarn that I LOVE that I could use to work this one up. It won't be the two toned look, though, it would be a self-striping yarn- the Lion Brand Mandala! This look is so great for me because I am a busty gal -)
