This is such a great way to express your patriotism in your home. Do you know anyone who loves the red, white, and blue theme? This would be the perfect gift for them! It would be a wonderful gift to give someone as a housewarming or wedding present. If you are not as keen on these colors, the pattern would look great in any other colors as well.

I am fully aware that the colors red, white and blue symbolize patriotism, but this blanket, should you choose to make it in the tri-colors suggested, does not have to sit on a shelf and only pulled out to celebrate those patriotic days. This is the type of pattern that can be appreciated any day of the year.

Looking at the design of this patriotic crochet baby blanket I first thought that the project was made in pieces and then sewn together. After reading the directions, I see that the colors alternate while working. I really like the "waffle" pattern that can easily be seen.
