Modified Moss Stitch Tutorial
If you are trying to figure out the perfect gift to make for your favorite little baby, try making a baby blanket using this modified moss stitch! This quick and easy crochet stitch resembles the popular moss stitch but with a few changes.
Just like the moss stitch, you'll be working chain stitches and single crochet stitches. Those stitches, combined with a few well-placed skipped chains, will work up into this beginner-friendly stitch pattern.

Having already started making this Cozy and Easy baby Blanket I can happily say that it really is Easy and, depending on what yarn you use, it is also beautifully cozy too! Teeny little baby Billy is going to be so cuddly and warm during our coming winter here in South Africa and after I have made his I will be making for one each for babies Cassie and Tess too.
