This Blue Baby Afghan is a simple crochet pattern that's great for beginners. Single crochet and double crochet stitches are used giving you the opportunity to learn the crochet stitches. This baby blanket is great for a boy or girl, just switch up the colors. Work your edging around the entire blanket with one of the contrasting colors or use a different color completely.

I can feel the softness of this Blue Baby Afghan. It's very simple to make and quick, too. Although I haven't made one, I can see it is quick and fast to do this pretty baby blanket. Can be in another baby color.

Make that 125 instead of 123.

Ive just started this pattern. You need to chain 25 instead of 23 or you will end up with 2 chains at the end of the first row instead of 2 single crochet. Probably just a typo.

This baby blanket is so dainty in alternating blue and white yarn done in single and double crochets. It looks so soft and comfy for the newborn baby boy or baby girl. It is the type of blanket that you can bring wherever baby goes. You will not hesitate to show it off to people. It can even be a good conversation piece at a kid's birthday party or at a christening.

I copied and pasted the pattern into an email so my husband could print it out for me. I hope that is OK. I am looking forward to trying this one.

This Blue Baby Afghan is beautiful..can't wait to make it!
