This is a fun scarf, and while I dont have that exact brand of yarn, I do have some that is very similar in color. One of the reasons you should work up a swatch when substituting yarns is that not all variegated varieties have the same color length. Some have long sections of color while others have shorter. Shorter lengths are better for this type of project. If the sections are too long, it begins to look like color blocking instead.

This is a very lacey and airy scarf. It is crocheted lengthwise instead of the usual way to make a scarf. You will have to know how long you want the scarf to be before you begin since once you start crocheting, it will determine the width instead of the length.

This was a simple pattern and easy to follow. Not sure why it is rated an intermediate, because it was simple. Made a scarf for Xmas gift giving and was very pleased with the results.
