Roaring 20s Flapper Hat
Experience a touch of the jazz age with this chic Roaring 20s Flapper Hat. Crocheted in a soft cream color, this hat is adorable and warm. The beautiful shell rim really makes the piece, turning the crochet beanie pattern into a truly unique accessory. This hat would look great in just about any color. For a more everyday look, work it up in a neutral color like the one shown in the example. If you're looking to be a little jazzier, consider crocheting it in all black and then adding some sparkle with sequins or buttons.

I have been making chemo caps to donate, and have used the same pattern for all of them. I was just thinking about changing up the pattern a little to maybe add trim to the edges, and here the pattern is just waiting for me to use! I have to resupply my very soft yarn first though.

I just made one of these for a friend who goes to chemo therapy. I used really soft yarn and made it in white with a row of lavender in the middle and the scalloped edge in lavender also. It's really pretty and she loves how soft it is for her really bad days. #BestIdeaEver
