"Perfect for valentines day or any kind of lovey decor. This is a lovely 2D heart that can get added to blankets, put inside cards, or just used for anything cute related. It is about 2 inches by 2 1/2 inches and you can make it bigger by adjusting the box and hump sizes. This pattern uses the Tunisian stitch to give it that detail in the center, if you want to use a different type then you are completely allowed as long as it makes a box."

These lovely hearts enchanted me the instant I saw them. Keep in mind that Step 2 is actually casting off the Tunisian square. This is where I Finished Off and then restarted the yarn at the corner seen in the right hand photo for Step 3. That gave me an inward shell when I worked the Humps. I also Slip Stitched down the remaining side until I reached the original tail. It meant more work with yarn ends, but gave a much tidier looking heart.
