"How does a gauge work? I remember it was about 2 years after I started crocheting when I started to ask questions like, “what is a gauge?” Then, “how do I read it?” And then, “how do I make it?” Well I’m guessing you are probably asking similar questions since you are here. Let’s find out! By the way, this is for knit and crochet. Gauges are easier than you think. They do take a little extra time, which is why nobody really likes making them. It would be so much more fun to just jump right into the pattern. But if you do that, then you may make your project too big or too small. I see it all the time..."
