I have a passion for tops like these. I wish I had the arms for them but I feel comfortable and so long as I feel good in them, I look good in them. This seems so easy to make and I feel confident that I can get it done in little to no time. Thanks for the free vintage sleeveless top pattern.

When I go to the directions for some of these clothing designs, I say to myself, why didn't I think of that? Well, I have never been that creative so that answers that question. Could a top like this be any easier? I love the design and hope that after work on my day off this week, I can make this little vintage sleeveless top.

This top is too warm to wear this summer in South Carolina but I will be making it since I will be traveling to Pennsylvania in November. I will use black yarn so I can wear a black undergarment under the top.

A very lovely open work sleeveless top. It does look a little warm for Florida, but maybe that is the yarn type or the color as I see it in the photo. Worsted weight to me seems to be a little too heavy of a yarn to use on such a delicate looking top. It looks easy to make and just needs a yarn change.

This top is super simple to make, and it works up very quickly. I have designed ponchos using this stitch combination and everyone seems to love how easy it is to do. I love the idea of using it to make a top. I would probably go up a size or two and use a lighter yarn for my own top though. I find worsted kind of thick for summer tops.

Although a pattern like this is not necessarily flattering for a person who has larger upper arms, like me, I do love the look of this sweater top! I know this would be easy to make, for sure! The denim blue color adds to the vintage look/appeal of the garment. I can make this because it is affordable, using just 6 skeins of yarn. If i made it in black with a metallic thread I could wear it for holiday parties or get togethers.
