Top - Poncho Hybrid
"This simple boho inspired top is sure to impress with the gorgeous yet understated stitch work. Not only is it a comfortable top, it can also work as a cover-up, extra layer or light poncho. The shirt appears complicated, but it is quite easy to crochet! The various textures stand out to create a unique and beautiful piece. The construction is simple since it’s made by crocheting two rectangles which are seamed together. This “Topcho” is perfect for an afternoon at the beach, a casual day out or an evening with friends. If you’re comfortable with basic stitches, chains and counting stitches, you should be all set to make this!"

This is an interesting design, a hybrid poncho? I totally get it and this is one of those pattern you say to yourself, now why didn't I think of that?

I love to find crochet clothing patterns that are easy like this. Not only is this a uncomplicated pattern it is easy to make a few adjustments to modify it to my exact taste. I would love the length of the topco to be a little longer in the front and the back and that is easily managed. I can not wait to start working on this design. Thanks for sharing this quality free crochet project.

I got all excited when I found this pattern. It is perfect! I can wear it in the summer with a tank top underneath and in the winter with a turtleneck underneath. I always wear layers and this is the best way to layer. The pattern looks simple enough. I can make it on one color or add different colors. Thank you!

I absolutely love boho designs. I think the colors on this need to be tweaked just a little to give it a more genuine boho look. The designer provided a lot of pictures with different angle of the topcho which helps me tremendously. I love all of her work and I like working with Vannas choice yarns. Her instructions are great.

I just love Mamma In A Stitch's patterns she offers to us! Seems like everything she creates I would like to create for myself! This Top-Poncho Hybrid is no exception. Her patterns are so simple to create while looking like you slaved over it for months. Too often beginners don't get a chance to actually make something of value-instead of a basic scarf, why not take on this beautiful top?

Wow, what a beautiful top this Top-poncho Hybrid makes. After reading the written pattern that is so easy to follow. I'm thankful for the pictures on her page showing how it looks and where to seam it together. I'm looking forward to making this beautiful top and just need to find the yarn. This would be a nice top to wear anywhere. I think I'll add more around the arm holes after seaming it together. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
