I found this crochet pattern a little late to be used now that we are heading into the cooler days of fall. Perhaps in different colors it could be worn like a shell under a cardigan as a two piece set or under a blazer or just have it ready in those rainbow colors for next summer.

The rainbow design on this top is really cute, but I think it would also look good with monochromatic colors. For myself, I definitely think I'd like it better in different shades of blue or purple. It would still be pretty in a solid shade, but then it would not show off the rounded shape as well.

Not sure why the skill level is intermediate. I guess like a lot of other patterns you don't really know what you are getting into until you start. I love this crop top and the simplicity of it. I would think a cotton yarn would breathe a little bit more than a worsted weight yarn.

I can see this done in a wide variety of colors. Red, white and blue comes to mind as a Summer holiday outfit. But I like it the way it is, bright and cheery. I could wear it along with this bracelet I just made. Now all I need to do is make up a matching purse.
