Pensacola Poncho
"Pensacola Poncho is a summer piece made to wear over a t-shirt, camisole, tank, or sundress. It uses a sport weight linen yarn. This warm weather poncho uses a technique often called Bruges lace, but is actually a crochet technique that mimics true Bruges lace, which is a bobbin tatted ribbon lace. The poncho is a rectangle made using this method and then the two ends are seamed as you crochet the final column of the lace so that the front of the poncho comes to a point, while the back travels horizontally across your shoulders."
