This alsace poncho is truly unique. I love the design flowing down the center. It looks very much like a knitting technique. The cowl around the neck is also a very nice touch. To keep the chill at bay, try a belt around the waist.

Wow, this poncho is truly stunning. The texture on the front of the piece adds an interesting dimension you don't see on most garments.

The design on the front of the alsace poncho is really nice. It adds a whole other dimension to the poncho. This could easily double as a blanket if needed. It is great that the designer included more than one size

At first I was balking at the fact that this poncho was a poncho, open all the way down the sides. I could just picture a stiff wind picking up and blowing my warmth away from me. However, what I realized is that it makes it more accessible for a gal of any size to wear it. If you wanted you could sew up halfway up the sides to make a large arm hole opening if that makes you feel any better. I love the Heartland yarn choice!
