Carla Summer Top
"This Carla Summer Top is an easy free crochet pattern perfect for beginners. This is as simple as a pattern gets, it is only one round repeated all through the pattern. This Summer Top is worked in round from bottom up. When you get to the armpit, you start on the right front panel to the top of shoulder, then you start on the left front panel to the top. After the front panels, you then create the back panels after which you then join them to each other to create the shoulders."

Summer tops are now my passion to crochet. Now that the weather is warming up, I have put the afghans and throws aside for a while. I recently finished a summer top and I am glad to have found this one. This is just the right size but I see the designer has included in the directions how to make different sizes.

This Carla summer top is really pretty. The Sidesaddle Cluster Stitch is new but with all the pictures, I am sure I will be successful in completing this project. Thanks for the free pattern and the directions included to make it in my size.

I'm soooooo excited! This pattern is pretty yet practical for a beginner like myself. If I get started on it now I just might get it done in time to wear it over a tank for the spring/summer season where I live. I've never used the sidesaddle cluster stitch before so that will increase the number of stitches I know. I am beyond thrilled that the artist remembered us larger folks with the sizes she included. It's also great that she's included tutorials for the stitches that the pattern includes. I can't pull off the coral color but I really like the delft blue and the myrtle green. Choices! Choices! Thanks for the free pattern!

The designer of the Carla summer top knows what she is doing. This pattern is so easy a beginner will be working it up quickly. Well written, pictures and you can print to save the pattern. Everything you need in a great pattern. I love all these sweet lacey patterns. So nice to wear over a little cami

I love the Carla Summer Top. The pattern is well written and a easy read with great pictures to help along the way. I do love the color and size choices as well. I right clicked on the written pattern and printed it out. So easy I can't wait to give it a try. Thank you so much for this free crochet pattern.

What a cute summer top! The color is perfect - pink but not too pink!
