After watching the video tutorial for this project, I figured out I made my first fringed item literally 50 years ago when I was beginning my first Hippie phase. Ponchos were all the rage in the late 60s and early 70s, so thats where most of my efforts went. I seem to remember a Granny Square vest with some pretty wild fringe elements, too.
