Meadow Lace Shrug
"Simple lightweight crochet shrug made from one rectangle with zero shaping, increasing and decreasing. This casual and stylish summer cardigan is perfect complement to wear in many occassions. The floral pattern keeps the crocheting interesting and the ribbing gives the shrug a knit-look. If you don’t like off-the-shoulder dresses or tops it will be definitely one of your favorite item to wear in summer. It can be easily matched with casual or formal dress, shirts or t-shirts underneath. It works up really quickly!"

This meadow lace shrug looks so delicate and intricate. I am hoping it is an easy pattern because I would really enjoy having something like this. It looks like a great accessory to wear during the spring and summer months, since it is light and airy. I am thinking this shrug would look amazing in black, and go with any outfit.

This meadow lace shrug design is just too pretty to be relegated to just the use as a shrug. Correct me if I am wrong but because this is worked as one large rectangle and then seamed to create sleeves I could essentially continue to grow the pattern for something like a table cloth. I think the design is absolutely stunning.

Easy. Well I don't think so. There are so many crochet stitch techniques that I would hardly call this easy. However, because of the sheer beauty of this design it is well worth the effort if you do have some crochet experience. This shrug could easily make any outfit or you can dress down in a pair of jeans. I want something with a little more pop of color like fire engine red.

She has given us at least a dozen pictures of the finished piece. I wish all blogger designers would do that. We can see what it would look like from all angles. And I happen to think that it looks amazing with that tank and a pair of jeans or jean shorts.

This is a wonderful project. The pattern is so pretty and delicate. It's not hard either.I read thru the directions and it's the kind you can make up in a day. It's also thin enough that here in florida you can use it all year around.Thank you for sharing this beautiful shawl.
