Not only would your favorite librarian like this three season sweater but any women you know would no matter her profession. I like the zig zag pattern but I do not know about how flattering that is. My Mom advised to stay away from stripes and this is in the same family. I do love the neckline though. It looks great on the model.

If you were to work this up using a chunky yarn and of course a bigger hook to match, I imagine you could have yourself a pretty cool looking sweater to wear in the winter time to pair over your jeans. Change it to a solid color choice to make it even easier to make.

This is a lovely sweater! Thanks for writing it all out to share. Ive been looking for crocheted chevron sweater pattern for women. I may use a cotton yarn, as I live in the south Florida and while I love the stripes, for mine, I might go solid. I love that youve nipped in the waist a bit, adding some shaping.

I love this pattern. I like the ripple afghan patterns is this is it in a sweater. I can't wait to start it. I like the yoke in one color and then how it goes to a stripe. It would be very versatile and quick to knit. I can't wait to get some yarn and start.

I couldn't agree more @Zeemer. The picture of the sweater out flat does not do it justice and actually looks like something one would make for a kid. However, on the model it comes to life and the lovely yoke look works beautifully. I recommend that everyone follows the link to the actual pattern page to see this sweater in all its glory.

I wanted to ignore this sweater but when I tried to check the pattern, I changed my mind. This Librarian's Favorite Three Season Sweater looks stunning when actually worn by the pretty model. It is body-hugging highlighting the model's sexy features. It uses ripple stitches in midnight blue, purple, and white. Thanks for the free pattern.
