Boy's Shawl-Collared Sweater
From the Blogger: “The Boy's Shawl-Collared Sweater comes in kid's sizes 4-10. It features a shawl collar, striped accent, toggle closure, a textured stitch, and ribbing at the sleeves and hem. It is an easy level pattern. The techniques you will need to know to complete this project are chaining and single crochet, plus common finishing techniques for a sweater (sewing shoulder seams, sleeve, and side seams). A cluster stitch is used in this project (sc, ch 1, sc). It is a great sweater for fall and winter and works up quickly.”

This is such an adorable pattern for a boy. I love that the designer shared photos of what it will actually look like when worn. That is a great help in determining if I will even attempt a project of apparel. Reading over the directions and I would not call it easy but the crochet techniques are simple enough so I just may have to make this for my nephew. By the time I finish it will be just the right size.

Was I excited to run across this pattern. You do not find a lot of patterns that are geared for our male counter part on the free list. This is a quality apparel pattern that I will save and make at a later date. Thanks so much for sharing.
