    Crochet Stole Pattern:

    With thread held double, ch 8. Slip st in 6th ch from hook, ch 5, slip st in next ch, ch 3, dc in last ch. Turn

    1. Row 1: Ch 5, slip st in same ch-space, ch 5, slip st in next ch-space, ch 5 slip st in same ch-space (mark this ch-space), ch 5, slip st in last ch-space, ch 3, dc in same ch-space. Turn.

    2. Rows 2-35: Ch 5, slip st in same ch-space, work (ch 5, slip st in next ch-space) to marked ch-space, ch 5, slip st in same ch-space (mark this ch-space), work (ch 5, slip st in next chspace) to last ch-space, ch 5, slip st in last ch-space, ch 3, dc in same ch-space. Turn.

    Stole Edging Pattern:

    1. Row 1: *Ch 1, (dc, ch 5, dc) in next ch-5 space; repeat from *, ending with sc in last ch-5 space. Turn.

    2. Row 2: Slip st in first ch-5 space, ch 3, 4 dc in same ch-5-space, *skip next ch-1 space, 5 dc in next ch-5 space; repeat from *, ending with sc in beginning ch-1 of last row. Turn.

    3. Row 3: *Ch 3, slip st in next dc, (skip next dc, ch 3, slip st in next dc) twice; repeat from * to end. Fasten off.

      Weave in ends. Block to measurements.
