Wrap Me In Ice Cream Shawl
"Lion Brand Ice Cream yarn is a light weight acrylic that comes in several different variegated colors and it is soft and wonderful to work with! It is 100% acrylic so that means washer/dryer safe…which I always appreciate for wearables. This shawl uses just two skeins of Lion Brand Ice Cream yarn or one skein of Ice Cream Big Scoop. If you prefer, this pattern could be made out of approx. 788 yards of a comparable light weight (category 3) yarn. This shawl combines simple stitches and textures with a beautiful result perfect for any crocheter!"

I have not used the ice cream yarn before but I do like lion brand products so I have to try this. I make a lot of shawls not only for myself, for friends but also for charity. The instructions are well written and it should work up quickly. I like patterns where you only have to repeat a couple rows. Thank you for the free pattern.

I have to amite, I am also a skinny/naturally cold person and shawls are part of my everyday dress. I am always on the lookout for a nice shawl pattern to whip up and I love the look of this one. I haven't seen this yarn but will be checking it out. I like this pattern that is well written and easy to follow. There are a few pictures showing some stitch placements and I like that there is one reminding you to make sure you get that last stitch done, so easy to miss. I like my shawls a little long, so I'll be ordering a few extra balls of this Ice Cream yarn. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet Wrap Me In Ice Cream Shawl pattern.

My eldest daughter and I were just talking the other day about her triangular shawl being at the end of it's journey! Now look here...just in the nick of time! I think this cookies and cream may be also the best choice of color for her as well. I think I'll leave it in the suggested weight yarn because she's skinny as a rail and cold natured to boot. I think if get started now I could have it ready for her birthday!

I'm in love with this Lion Brand Ice Cream yarn! There are so many great projects you can make with it. Lightweight shawls and wraps are ideal, as are baby blankets and baby clothing like sweaters and hats. I always have such a hard time deciding on what colorway to pick for my project. The cookies and cream color is outstanding for a neutral. Thank you! This shawl will look great on me this fall.
