"I recently purchased a few cakes of Lion Brand Yarns, Mandala. I'm normally a solid color girl when it comes to most everything in life, especially yarn. But the cakes were calling my name from the store shelves, so I decided to give them a whirl! I purchased a few of the cakes in different colorways. I used the colorway Gnome to design my Girls Butterfly Mandala Vest, the colors were perfect for my youngest daughter! But the Genie colorway, I purchased to make something just for me and I decided with Mother's Day right around the corner, I'd share the pattern on my blog for all to enjoy!"

This Water Edge Shawl looks like the perfect place for me to ease back in after my crochet hiatus. It looks so soft and breezy. I really do like the color of yarn the artist chose. I wonder if it's still available? Best go look before I get too attached to it in this color! The Spirit color is really beautiful too...choices...choices!
