When I see crochet patterns with a lot of color they usually get my attention because I love color. I am then excited when I see that a self striping or cake yarn is used to get that array of color without a lot of effort. I see this is one of those projects and I know it will be saved to my to do list.

This is beautiful and boy and I glad to know that I can create this with those wonderfully delightful cake yarns. I love the labor of crochet but weaving in the ends is the part I like the least. This gemstone lace shawl moved up my to do list when I discovered that the cake was the medium used. Logging into my favorite site to order yarn now. Thanks for sharing this quality free pattern.

The colors of this shawl are so pretty! You could wear it with a top in one of the colors and boom, you have a gorgeous coordinated outfit.

I like Divine Debris, I do. I think her designs show her personality very well! However, this shawl is something that I just don't get. I have seen a few shawls where they are that offset triangle shape, and I just don't get why somebody would want something specifically that shape. It's weird to me! I fully expect a bunch of people to retaliate. The colors are amazing, and it does look beautiful. But the weird shape is what gets me. It would not cover me at all -)
