Im not particularly interested in working up a shrug, so I was very happy to see that the designer has offered a way to just download the chart for the motif itself. The graph doesnt have the line by line instructions, but it does have a few handy tips. I downloaded and saved the chart as a .pdf file, but it can also be printed off if desired.

This long cocoon shrug looks like something offered at a pricey boutique! I am taking the basic pattern of the sweater and using it for myself with a different yarn. I also want to make it wider because I am a plus size. My cocoon shrug will be a beautiful dark cherry or merlot color, a tonal stripe. Thanks for this pattern!

This is very nice. It's very current. I like the style and the classy look. I read the directions and even though it says intermediate there is nothing really hard about it. The stitches are basic and anyone can do it. There's written instructions and pictures to help you. Thanks for sharing.
