I really, really like this pattern. I used some fingering weight variegated 100% wool yarn and I couldn't be happier! The pattern was reasonable to follow and the shawl turned out really lovely. I've kept the pattern in my folder for patterns I've used and will probably use again. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

PS As soon as I am able I will take a picture and upload it.

I love making triangle shawls because I love the shape and they look great wrapped around your neck like a scarf. I love that this pattern is lacy. And I also love that it uses light yarn, which is my favorite to work with. I agree that most people would hear the word fall and feel these colors don't match it, but I agree with the other commented that because it is made to be a light shawl that makes it perfect for fall. Hence, the name fall shawl.

I love the color selection used by the designer. I also appreciate how she provided multiple size options from extra small to extra-large. The type of yarn selected is also completely user friendly. I was thinking of a solid color but I feel adventurous and I think I will try one of those yarns that change color as you go.

I agree with you on the issue you pointed out princess6860504. However, the shawl does look lovely even though the title is a little misleading. It looks so light and airy and very feminine. Almost like the wings of a butterfly.

I'm curious to find out exactly why this pink and blush toned shawl is called the "Lacy Fall Shawl". The colors do not reflect what I would think of when I hear the word "fall". Aside from that, it IS an amazingly beautiful work of art! Just double crochets and shells make up the pattern we see. Couldn't be easier! Fingering weight yarn is what is required for this shawl. Lovely )

Bonjour, avez-vous des patrons en franais?

Fall Shawl is such a great name for this pastern because it has just enough weight to to protect one against the evening chill. And of course it will work just as well at any other time of the year, lol! The pattern is so pretty too and I just love that it is rated Easy! Fall is slowing approaching here in South Africa and this is going to be lovely to wear.

I just love the look of this lacy Fall shawl. It looks so light and airy and very feminine and it is made up in my most favorite color too! Wow and it can be made in a variety of sizes too. Thanks so much for sharing your pattern including all the size choices plus the amounts of yarn it will take for each one.

I love this pattern. It was easy to follow and the pattern is lovely. I used DK weight yarn and only about 650 yards for a fairly large size. I showed it to some crocheting friends and they all wanted the pattern. One friend has already made one and is starting another. Any weight yarn will work.

Karo I think the pattern is beautiful. Will start right away!

I love it and can't wait to start
