Virus Crochet Shawl Written Instructions
If you have ever gone hunting on the web for a virus shawl pattern, you have probably realized that written instructions for these types of crochet patterns are few and far between. There are a TON of how to crochet a virus shawl or blanket Youtube videos out there, but written instructions are not as easily located. Crocheters who prefer written instructions will be forever grateful for these Virus Crochet Shawl Written Instructions. The written instructions from this pattern are slightly modified from a popular (UK) pattern on Youtube (see below) in order to explain the pattern in US terms (that vary slightly).
NotesThis crochet pattern uses variegated or self-striping yarn. Crochet hook depends on yarn weight.

I am happy to see this one that has a great video showing just how to create the Virus Crochet Shawl. I have seen a few written patterns that I have tried and they just didn't work. Now that I have a video I can create this beautiful shaw. I have saved this one and will be coming back to do this one. Thank you so much for adding this free crochet shawl pattern.

I had already watched the video for this project, and am so glad someone took it upon themself to document the actual pattern. The above link leads to a Ravelry page, and although there doesnt appear to be a download for this, its very easy to copy and paste into a new document (thats what I did). The YouTube address is also there, so dont forget to include that in your new doc.

I really appreciate the fact that all I have to do is click the link above and I am taken to the Ravelry pattern page where the pattern is written out in full! A lot of times you will not find it there, unless you create a password and sign in to gain access. These types of shawls are so pretty! This is one thing that I have not attempted to do...YET
