This January Shawl Crochet caught my attention because of its long back pattern. I like long backs because it's stylish and this one will make a timely fashion statement. I like the color yellow in many things but I'd probably choose an earth color or a multicolored yarn for this lovely project.

This is a beautiful shawl, that I would consider wearing for an "after five" event. Of all the patterns listed for the "best patterns", this one was the most unique. I have saved this pattern and plan to make it for myself.
