Wow. Denim blues - perfect match for denim jeans. This shawl can be used instead of a denim jacket for not so cold days, just enough to cover and give just enough warmth on chilly days and evenings. I like to do this one of these days. It is so elegant.

Blue is such a calming color and this shawl would serve to be a wonderful piece to have to wrap you in calming colors. The light and airy design would be perfect on a chilly night just to keep the chill at bay.

This shawls is created with the yarn, Shawl in a Ball by Lions brand. I see that there are a lot of colors provided so I am sure I will have a hard time deciding on a color. Even though I love the blue used here, it is important that I increase my wardrobe by using colors other than shades of blue.

The full pattern for this fling can be found here http//crochetkim.com/freepatterns/denim-blues-flin == g/ . For those that dont know, a fling is the same thing as a wrap. It is rectangular in size. This particular one is made from one skein of Shawl in a Ball by Lion Brand. I have never seen this pattern before, but I do love the color.

Another easy, breezy chain-type stitch and all with just ONE ball of yarn?! Gimme, gimme! This would be great for a beginner student because it's a repetitive stitch that just carries on row after row. It'll give the student a lot of practice. The end result will be a beautiful shawl to wear and show off!
