Yes round five needs some clarifying. Once you get past that, it's a snap. I love to make things like this for my tree. Not only because I enjoy making homemade items for it but with four young grand kids it's great having pretty but Unbreakable things on the tree. Thank you for sharing.

It took awhile for me to conquer this but I was determined not to give up. Finally figured out the problem: on round 5 the repetition should start with chain 4 then sc in next ch 4 loop..etc. A more experienced crocheter would have picked up on this faster but it took me a lot of pulling out and redoing to get it right. Also it would have helped to have some clue like, 12 sps, I am so proud of being able to make these and can do them pretty fast now, and I thought all I could do was dishcloths! Trying to make one for each of my 5 grandchildren. Thanks for posting the pattern!
