This snowflake is made in three rounds so I can only imagine that it is not a really big snowflake. These probably do not take a lot of material either. I agree that these would look great as part of window directions but I think I want to make them as Christmas tree ornaments. I would not have blocked them if you had not mentioned it. Thanks.

It is hard to believe that it is already the middle of November and soon it will be time for some of us to have snow. My relatives got snow just this week end in the Washington DC area. It was a dusting but none the less snow. Where I live, we do not have to contend with snow as much as they do so here is a way for me to have those flurries inside by making a lot of these quick and easy snowflakes.

This is a nice, easy snowflake that can be worked up using regular worsted yarn. Its a little complicated for my granddaughtera beginning crocheterbut I think Im going to challenge her on this one. She usually visits for a few days over the winter holidays, so we try all sorts of new skills. I think shell be pleased with this one.

Quick, easy and inexpensive. And don't forget cute. That covers all of my requirements. It's a simple pattern that looks a lot more complicated than it is. And try getting some flat back rhinestones or sequins at the dollar store to glue in the center. And never forget glitter to.
