"How cute is this Pumpkin top and hat? My grandson, Gabriel, was having a great time modeling this for me. Add a pair of leggings and you have a costume for Halloween that will definitely keep your Toddler super warm while he or she is out and about trick-or-treating. This was made using Pumpkin Spice in Bernat Blanket Yarn and a 10mm crochet hook. The top is made in two pieces and then whipstitched together. It's a quick project to make, super soft and cozy."

This really is the perfect costume for a little one because its easy to make it large enough to fit over a jacket if necessary. Since its just a hat and top, its much more forgiving when it comes to size, and dont be surprised if once the little one has it on, they refuse to take it off. Been there, done that more times than I care to tell.

Even after the Halloween trick or treat extravaganza, this could be used a play time dress up. We all know how fast kids grow and unless you have one up and coming to hand this down to, it would be a shame just to wear it once. I love this tried and true classic.

I wish I had someone to make this for. This crochet pumpkin costume is just too cute. This will be perfect is the night air is just a little chilly. The little one will not have to wear outwear and cover up this adorable costume. This is adorable.
