Adorable Scarecrow
"Here's a super-cute and easy Hanging Scarecrow to add to your fall seasonal decor. This cute little fella looks great hanging on your wall or on your door. Or, you could attach him to a wreath or a garden stake for outside decor. This is a great stash buster project and would make a great project for even the beginner crocheter to tackle. This guy will definitely put a smile on your face."

I usually don't put up many de orations for Halloween because I live alone. But I do have grand kids that stop by. This will go on the door for Thanksgivng. It's cute, different and very easy to make. If I can make one that has a more lady like look my grand daughter would be thrilled.

This is a wonderful project for Beginners! The individual pieces are made from the most basic crochet stitches and forms. The designer provides clear written instructions as well as very nice photos detailing the assembly process. The only change I would suggest is to glue a cardstock or other lightweight circle behind the head. I noticed the head being pulled down in the final assembly, and the cardstock would help stabilize it.
