What a fun idea for a scarf, especially for a child! Even though its worked as a solid for this example, rainbow stripes would be just the thing for a childs scarf. The scarf is worked across the width, and the designer provides instructions on how to adjust the width. The pattern repeats so you can continue the work to the length you need. Love the little ruffle on the bottom, too!
