Ive worked projects that use the Cross Stitch (its one of my favorites for putting a little texture into things), but I have to say I like her method better than the one I have been using. If youre unfamiliar with the stitch, the designer provides an excellent photo tutorial describing her way of working the stitch. Once youve mastered the Cross Stitch, the scarf is a piece of cake!

So here is a new pattern offering that I found today. Her designs are classic, feminine. I adore this strawberry yarn from Caron Simply Soft! The scarf looks like a strawberries and cream bonbon. My idea would be to make it a little wider, lots shorter, and turn it into a cowl.

Love the look of this scarf. The pink is so delicate and feminine. Pink is also my favorite color. I am currently working on Valentine projects and this one just made the list for me to make next. I cant wait to learn the stitch that is worked in order to create the Xs. An alternate version would be to not join the ends and add fringe or tassels.
