"I am always excited to have something new for you. Today I am offering you this free crochet pattern The Wayward Scarf. This scarf was made using Mandala Yarn. Can I tell you I was afraid of using this yarn until finally decided to use it? I was afraid the stripes were going to be all wrong. So this scarf is great for mothers, aunts, friend, co-workers etc. as a Christmas present or better yet a present for yourself."

This just looks like a fun project. Its worked lengthwise, and the initial chain and first row can be worked as a Foundation Single Crochet. After that, its just an alternating series of V-Stitch and Shell Stitch rows. Rows 4 and 5 are repeated until you get it as wide as youd like. The designer ends it after 10 rows, and that seems right for this yarn weight.

I was almost gonna say that I bet I could make two of these scarves with just one Mandala yarn cake. That is, until I saw the second picture on the mannequin. It is pretty sizeable! It will drape and scrunch around the shoulders for a cozy look and feel. I LOVE THIS YARN- I speak from personal experience.

I was at a family reunion the past few days, and that's exactly what I used to work this up. I know it was Premiere yarn, but I tossed the label so I don't remember what the color was called.
