    Simple V Stitch Scarf

"Make this simple Crochet Scarf to brighten your mood. This is a beginner friendly pattern and will work up very fast. I love the drape the V stitch gives this infinity cowl and it is my go to crochet gift. You will learn the V stitch and a crochet hack that keeps your edges looking nice and neat. You will need an H or an I hook and about 200 grams or 7 oz of worsted weight yarn. I made my own yarn cake with 2 balls of Silver,  2 balls of White and 1 ball of Canary weighing around 20 grams each."

This is one of my favorite Beginner projects. The V Stitch is just a step up from a Double Crochet, but changes the look of the scarf entirely. This pattern can be used for solid colored and variegated yarns, and work well with the cake or other shawl in a ball types of yarns. It can also be used to work color changes. Its airy texture lends itself to more than one season as well.

I love, love, love this scarf! That pop of bright canary yellow bursting between the white and the silvery gray is just a welcome for spring! The v stitch is a great stitch to use to attain a nice drape in a cowl or infinity scarf. If you haven't tried it, give it a go. It is a fun stitch to do!
