"Introducing you to the Sweet Pink Spring Scarf! When it starts getting warmer around here in Alabama...I get really excited. I can start designing with my cotton yarn again! In the winter months, most projects really have a functional purpose of keeping us warm along with the look and style as the 2nd priority don't you think? When the warmer weather is trying to peak through my crochet thoughts are more of designing stylish pieces that can add a fashion sense to what you are wearing. While this accessory is definitely a scarf....it's purpose was to wear as a fashion statement. Sometimes we just want to look cute and well put together and what better way than to wear this piece?"

Pink is sweet and this girls favorite color. Pink is sweet because it reminds me of cotton candy, bubble gum, and lollipops. All the good things that are bad for you. This scarf wouldnt be bad for you though or should I say it wouldnt be bad for your wardrobe. It is an awesome conversational piece and so feminine with its lacy look.

So here we have a three row repeating pattern to create these "shells", done up in a beautiful bubblegum pink cotton yarn! I appreciate the link she provides so we can snag this yarn for just over $7. And one is all we need to complete this! Thank you to Elk Studio.

It may be a Spring time scarf for some but here in Florida it's an all year long scarf. I love the openness of the pattern. It will breathe. Plus it's very easy and doesn't take much yarn to make. It's going on my to do list. Thank you for sharing it.
