Squamish Cowl

"This squishy cowl is made with Lion Brand Yarn’s Vanna’s Choice Yarn (so cozy!) in Silver Grey, Chocolate, and Dusty Blue. I chose to use three colors, but you can choose any color combination with the simple assembly of the squares. I used three skeins for the colors, but it only takes a couple hundred yards of yarn. It fits comfortably loose and is nice and long to cover your face on those extra chilly days. The fringe continues the color pattern and adds more detail the the bottom edge. This pattern uses three skeins of Vanna's Choice Lion Brand Yarn in Silver Grey, Chocolate, and Dusty Blue."

NotesAnd you are finished! Roll the top edge over the create a double layered warm cowl that stays under your chin, or pull it up to cover your nose on those super cold mornings.

I can see the patchwork look much better when the cowl is laid out full length and not folded over. Cute idea! The colors she picked are very nature inspired and neutral so it can go with probably most of your coats and tops. Can you picture this in a black, orchid, and teal combination?

The Boho look has never really gone away, and this creative cowl is a perfect example of the style. I love the patchwork look, and since the patches are worked individually and not join as you go, this makes it a handy Take Along craft. I like the muted colors the designer has chosen, and even though the holiday season is coming up, I plan to resist working this in red and green. Although a striped square now and then might be interesting.
