This is an interesting take on a scarf. Its basically just as many circles as you want, linked together, and then surrounded by a border stitch. Theres a merry path to take to get to the actual pattern though. The link above takes you to a Ravelry page a link there goes to the designers webpage and finally theres a link there for a .pdf download. The pattern is never on any of the above sites themselves.

I do not know if I am doing something wrong or not. Lately I have run across a lot of patterns that are considered scrap busters. I seldom have enough of any yarn to do anything with other than using it as a stuffing for a pillow. At any rate, I love this pattern and because I do not have any "scrap" yarn, I will have to run out and get may favorite colors.

Excellent idea! Why not get some Christmas colors out and make this a string of retro ornaments?

This scraptacular circle scarf is full of color and screams "look at me". By crocheting the motifs in circles that are the first element of fun than to use multiple colors adds a whole other dimension. You will get compliments if you crochet and wear this item.

The Scraptacular scarf is offered through the Ravelry homepage. It is a design meant for fashion instead of warmth. I can see wearing this with a cute denim romper with colored tights and Mary Jane shoes. It has that '70's vibe to it, for sure. I made my own scarf similar to this but instead of rounds I did granny squares. I joined them all together to for a super long and fairly lean strip. Every time I wear it I get looks and compliments!

I love this, thank you so much for the pattern. I did however go up a size in hook for the second round of border to allow the scarf to lie a bit flatter

tried to upload pattern but it went to ravelrey , attic 2 4, little fingers, ravelry... add infinitum and still no pattern. I'm fed up!!!!!!

Yup, same here - can't get to the pattern
