Rettangolini Scarf
"Even in summer it is nice to wear interesting accessories - but they need to be made in a way that they can be worn even if it is warm outside. This breezy crochet scarf is such a fun summer accessory. It is constructed of rectangular modules of double crochet stitches. These rectangles are connected as you go leaving holes to make the cool air flow through it. It's also great to show off your variegated yarn."
Crochet HookE/4 or 3.5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(2) Fine (23-26 stitches to 4 inches)

Wow, this scarf looks like you would find it in a super fancy boutique. With a super fancy price tag on it, too! How impressive! I have never seen such a stitch before, and by looking at the picture, I can pick it apart and I figured out how she did it- I don't see it as that hard at all!

This is a very unusual design. But it's also a very pretty one too. I love using variegated yarns.nthey self shade and that's so pretty. Every project comes out with a different look. I want this as a table runner. The open pattern will still allow the grain of my wood table to show thru.

This is one of those projects where the engineer in me says How in the world did they do that??? Ive worked a bit of Entrelac so I thought it might be similar in some way. It is and it isnt, so I worked up a swatch about the size in Figure 5. Since there isnt a video of the project, I actually found the chart more useful than just the text since I could see exactly where to start the next rectangle.
