When I saw this project, I got really excited because the lozenge motif looks exactly like a doily a cousin sent me from Germany. I despaired of ever finding the pattern since she had bought the doily at a shop and had no way of locating the pattern. I can tell you that its much, much easier to work up than it looks, and Im so happy to have this in my collection now.

It's funny, but I am perplexed about the name of this scarf. It is very elegant. Definitely an accessory scarf to be worn over a pretty dress for date night or girl's night out. The beaded fringe adds that perfect finishing touch to kick it up a notch on the style factor! It looks like it has some kind of mercerized cotton blend in the yarn. Almost has a sateen finish to it.
