Little Black Cowl
"Welcome back to the Scarf of the Month Club, 2018! Join us for another year of crochet patterns for scarves and cowls! My first design is the My Little Black Cowl - this pattern is designed to go with My Little Black Hat pattern which you can find here: My Little Black Hat This is a very simple pattern which can be crocheted to any size or shape. The hat and cowl are both crocheted in cotton yarn but you can substitute any medium weight yarn for the scarf. If you prefer a traditional style scarf, I have included instructions in the post to help you make one using this same stitch pattern. Have fun with your yarn! Rhondda"

Everyone loves a basic black cowl, don't they? It goes with just about everything in your wardrobe, and will make you look great without even trying. I like that it is made with a different/unconventional yarn choice, which is a combed cotton. It looks like it has a nice sheen to it, too.
