Again, Lion Brand Mandala yarn is perfect to upgrade this tiny bandana scarf into something larger, a shawl sized triangle scarf. I wonder if I can use Loops Threads Woolike super fine (2) weight for this to make it true to size? It is lovely and delicate and so boho inspired with the tassels!

While this pattern calls for lace weight yarn to complete this pattern so it turns out the same size as it is in the photo, I think it would turn into a lovely shawl if you were to crochet it in a thicker yarn, like a sport weight or even a worsted weight. It would turn into a wonderful shawl for chilly autumn evenings with a good book in hand.

Totally agree with you, I plan on playing around with this pattern and seeing how it turns out with all different weights of yarn. I think it would turn out great for different seasons with the different weights of yarn.
