This delicate confection is worked across the width so you can make it slightly shorter as a cowl, or longer to make a scarf. I love all the style options in the photos! Once the establishing row is worked, everything else is just a simple repeat of Row 2. This scarf would look great in any color, and the open lacy texture wouldnt lose a thing with a variegated yarn either.

There is something so serene about this scarf, with the gray skies coloring and the lacy open design. Made up of easy chain, double crochets, and triples crochets, we can have a beautiful scar that is not bulky but light and airy with wonderful drape.

What really struck me was all the different ways it can be worn. I think about tying a scarf in different ways, but I need to look into the wonderful world of scarf pins.
