Who knew that a simple Granny could be worked into something so stunning? By using the Lion Brand Scarfie yarn, you dont even need to change colors like regular Granny Squares. For some reason I cant see the photo for this on the top of this post, but I was able to track down the original pattern at Simplicity.com. Theres an option for printing off, or for my favorite, downloading a .pdf.

Hey! Look at this! These are gigantic, huge, granny squares. This pattern looks so modern yet retains the retro feel of our old-fashioned granny squares...and not in the avocado and rust. -) I just might be inspired to work this up for myself! I think you would get great near-instant satisfaction with this super scarf because you'd work up just a handful of squares.

I'm giving this scarf a five-star rating unlike the previous granny square pattern because this one looks tidier and it does not have the fringes which I'm not a fan of. This Grayscale Granny Square Crochet Super Scarf pattern in monochromatic gray is so gorgeous, you want to show it off to the world. It is not only a piece of accessory to protect you from the harsh winter climate but it is also a fashion statement for Fall and Winter season. The dark/medium/light gray interplay of colors is what makes this super scarf so elegantly chic and classy. Any fashionista would like to have this super scarf in her wardrobe. Even the menfolk, the more fashionably adventurous among them would like to try to this fashion accessory. Can't wait to start this super scarf. Thanks for the free pattern.

I wore oversized scaves before it became trendy, lol. But This one is nice. I have a use for all my scraps.

There is something in oversized scarves that excites me. Everytime I see one, I want to make exactly the same scarf for personal use. I've made so many granny squares already but I've never tried to do granny squares to make into a scarf. But this is so unique, so stylish. Any woman would love to have this to show off to friends. This Grayscale Granny Square Crochet Super Scarf would also look great in vibrant solid or monochromatic colors.
